He then asks Ono for a report on Kilio Valley. The hyenas kidnap Kiara and take Makini's bakora staff. The group returns to Tamasha and Kion and the Lion Guard watch contentedly. Kion questions her as to why she had left her egg in Ono's nest, and she explains that she has been building a new nest in preparation for her egg hatching. The Lion Guard arrives at Maji Baridi Falls, where Beshte, Bunga, Fuli, and Ono become so distracted worrying over Kion that they fail to notice him crossing a large log over the raging river. Kion leads the Lion Guard into the final chamber of the underground tunnels. The Lion Guard rescues Mbuni and two other ostriches from sand that has filled up a gully. Suddenly, a gorilla appears, smashing everything in sight. Imara is a female lion. With their charges safe, the Lion Guard takes off to save Makini and Rafiki, only to find that Chama, Furaha, and Mzaha are battling the fire themselves. While on patrol, Beshte and Bunga spot Dogo's brothers making themselves at home in aardvark warrens. While Bunga, Fuli, and Ono set out to clear the grove of animals, Beshte and Kion confront Makuu. Kion resolves to help the helpless galagos, but before the group can leave, Ono informs the team that Shingo the giraffe is stuck in a tree in Ukuni Woods. Makini gushes over what she had heard, but Kion tells her not to go talking too much about it. Kifaru reacts obliviously, and the Lion Guard explains that he had shaken the baboons out of their tree and trampled every tree in his path. Chuluun fights him off and escapes. Kion uses the Roar of the Elders to clear a pile of boulders. Lion offers to escort Kulinda, the hammerkop egg's mother, back to Ono's nest. See it now in London. As he is no longer the protector of the Pride Lands, Kion returns to the Tree of Life and marries Rani, with their family and close friends attending their marriage. A miffed Kion reluctantly agrees to her demands, but makes her promise to stop stealing the possessions of the aardvarks. Presently, the Lion Guard finds themselves plagued by tsetse flies. Kion discovers a hidden tunnel within the Lair of the Lion Guard. Kion and Fuli halt their pursuit of Uroho, Mwevi and Mwizi in order to rescue two antelope from a river. Together, the team takes off to protect Twiga, but when they arrive on the scene, Makuu is nowhere to be found, only Twiga and Vuruga Vuruga. He is the fiercest member and leader of the lion guard. The Lion Guard travels through a marsh and are suddenly attacked by a group of mongooses, which they easily defeat. Simba tells his theory to Kion, who agrees to meet his father and friend at the entrance. His friends, protecting the Pride Lands, spending time with his family, playing Baobab Ball with Bunga, adventures, the Circle of Life, Rani, his sister Kiara Kiara quickly connects the dots and realizes that the elands will run right into the hives, inciting chaos. Kion initially held prejudice against the inhabitants of the Outlands. After the fight, the Pride Landers celebrate their victory. Thanks to Muhimu's words of encouragement, the herds trust Kion to lead them into the Outlands. Frightened by Scar's unexpected appearance, the remaining Pride Landers flee Mizimu Grove. This causes him to constantly lose his temper and control of the Roar. However, Kion retorts that he is the future queen's younger brother and has the Mark of the Guard, so he and his friends are the Lion Guard. Under the careful watch of Swala and several others, Muhimu gives birth to a son. Kion encourages Ma Tembo to give Chama, a rambunctious elephant, one more chance with the herd. Jasiri admits that lions have taken over her family's watering hole and are refusing to share it. Dhahabu then takes the Lion Guard aside and shows them the whole of Dhahabu Grove, which she pronounces as being the happiest place in the Back Lands. At Pride Rock, the Lion Guard regroups and expresses relief that the three young animals are back with their herds. Makucha shoves him out of the way, saving his life, much to the shock of Fahari and Jiona. The two groups were at odds until Rani informs her grandmother and the Queen of the Tree of Life, Janna, about Kion's Roar of the Elders. Kion gently reminds her that leaders must tell the truth, even if the information is grave, and that they must help when there is a problem. He explains what had happened when he had used the Roar in anger and confesses his fear that he will turn out like Scar. The Roar of the Elders, also known as simply "the Roar", is an intensely powerful roar that is bestowed on the leader of the Lion Guard by the Great Kings of the Past. But unlike Scar and Kovu's, Kion's has two markings on his eyebrow instead of one. However, after being cornered by Anga and Bunga, he advises them to talk to a mongoose. The team takes off to sort out the problem, but as they run alongside the stampede, Bunga recognizes the pile of rocks from when he'd messed around with Rafiki's painting. Kion is the son of Simba and Nala and Kiara's little brother. Kion inherited dark ear rims from his father, Simba. Kion then leaves to speak with Askari, leaving Fuli in charge of the Lion Guard. Since then, Kion and his friends focuses on fighting against Scar's army.
